Our department appreciates and supports its wonderful citizens.  With this in mind, our department does nightly residential checks assuring our residents are as safe as possible. We drive through our heavily populated areas, often utilizing our searchlights, looking for anything suspicious or out of place.  Along with this we offer specific House Checks for when you and your loved ones may be out of town. These are just some of the steps we take to be a proactive police department instead of a reactive one.

 If you would like House Checks to be done for your residence please complete the attached form below and either e-mail it to wendy@garrettindiana.us or bring it to the Garrett PD lobby during normal business hours. If you are unable to print out this form ,simply come to the Garrett Police Department, and we will provide you with a copy.
