Clerk - Treasurer
The Clerk-Treasurer manages and directs the City of Garrett Department of Finance, keeps and maintains the records of the Common Council and records the minutes of the Common Council and Board of Public Works meetings. She also maintains the City ordinance book and may conduct marriage ceremonies. Billing and accounting for the City Utilities is also managed by the Clerk-Treasurer. He/she must be a city resident and serves a four-year term.
The current Garrett Clerk-Treasurer is Marcie Conkle. Her current term began January 1, 2020 and ends December 31, 2023. There are no limits on the number of terms a clerk may serve.
