The City of Garrett Fire Department serves the Citizens of Garrett, Town of Altona, and Keyser Township. The Garrett Fire Department was established in 1879 in Garrett Indiana.

The mission of the Garrett Police Department is to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Garrett and those that visit our community, by earning their trust through honest, ethical service and problem solving.

Our street department manages a variety of factors to keep the roadways clear of snow, debris, potholes, and more. They also maintain our City Parks and help keep them beautiful.
