2011 Brush-Limb Pick-Up Schedule

GARRETT - The City of Garrett is now picking up tree limbs and brush. This service assists Garrett homeowners to dispose of limbs resulting from storms or small pruning projects.

The 2011 pick-up schedule is limited to certain weeks during the months of April through September, weather permitting, as follows:

The following guidelines apply for this service:

There will be only one pass-through by the City for each area. If you are missed, or forget to place limbs out for pick-up, you may dispose of your limbs at the NISWMD compost site as noted below.

The City reserves the right to refuse pick up for those properties not complying with the
above guidelines.

Garrett residents may still also dispose of brush and limbs by taking them to the Northeastern Indiana Solid Waste Management District (NISWMD) compost site 2.5 miles northwest of Auburn on County Road 36A, just North of the DeKalb County Farm. Their hours are:
